When I was a New Thought beginner – I know, every day I am a New Thought beginner – but when I was REALLY a New Thought beginner, one of my teachers, Reverend Dawn Kelton, would say to us: "God Always Says Yes."

She went on to explain to us that no matter what we thought, God would say "yes" to it. It took me awhile to reach a point of understanding with it, but I now know what it means to say "God Always Says Yes."

It means that no matter what I think, say, feel or do, since I have free will, God always says yes to my choices, be they negative or positive.

Have you ever had one of those days where you get up in the morning on the "wrong side of the bed" so to speak, and all day you meet crabby people?

Nothing goes smoothly. And at the end of the day you wondered what in the world happened? Well, that was God saying "Yes" to your crabbiness! I've certainly had days like that!

I have also had days when I have been "prayed up" and everything flows! I meet wonderful, helpful people. Doors that were previously closed to me are opened. The freeway traffic is smooth, I encounter no "jerks". I feel alive, joyous and inspired. Those are also days when God says, "Yes".

In God's Infinite Wisdom, we are given the opportunity each moment to meet our thoughts, feelings and actions face to face and learn the lesson in them, whether the lesson feels positive or negative.
